Air-cooled chillers use ambient air to eliminate the heat load from the process and water-cooled chillers use your plant’s water source to remove that heat. Air-cooled chillers are ideal for applications where ambient air temperatures are between 60°F and 95°F. Water-cooled chillers are used when ambient air temperatures are prohibitively high.
