Lower the energy cost of your air dryer

What can I do to lower the energy cost of my air dryer?

July 8, 2022

My use multiple air dryers in my facility, and they are causing the energy cost to be high. What can I do to make my air treatment system more energy-efficient?

Pneumatech cycling dryers are energy efficient and are the most commonly used dryer to save on energy and maintenance costs. Cycling dryers are ultimate energy savers. The energy consumption in a cycling dryer will flucuate according to moisture load and flow rate in the compressed air system. Pneumatech's cycling dryers use a Cycle Saver algorithm that starts and stops the dryer to save energy while keeping the relative humidity of the compressed air below 50% to prevent the formation of liquid water. A hot gas bypass valve is used to prevent ice from forming in the dryer during periods of low flow along with an intelligent shutdown feature in the event of freezing ambient temperatures.

For a facility that uses a dryer throughout the day, but may have small lull periods, a cycling dryer is the ideal solution. If your facility is in need of an energy-efficient drying solution and constantly uses compressed air to operate, a cycling dryer is needed. Pneumatech offers durable and reliable cycling (and non-cycling) dryers in various sizes to accomodate the need of any industry. You can browse Pneumatech's refrigeration dryers HERE.
