Refrigeration dryer technology

Refrigeration dryers, available in both air-cooled and water-cooled versions, work by cooling the warm, moisture-laden air generated by the compressor. The cooling begins in the air-to-air heat exchanger and continues in the air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger, where moisture is condensed and drained. Afterward, the air is reheated to room temperature, reducing the pressure dew point and preventing condensation within the piping system. By cooling the incoming air, the process also decreases the cooling demand on the refrigerant system. Widely adopted across many sectors, refrigeration dryers are the most commonly used drying technology today.
