What is a nitrogen skid?

A nitrogen generation skid is a self-contained, all-in-one system designed to produce high-purity nitrogen directly on-site. Built on a compact and sturdy skid-mounted frame, it integrates all essential components—including an air compressor, air treatment system, Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) nitrogen generator, high-pressure booster, and storage tanks—into a single, plug-and-play solution.

How does a nitrogen skid work?

The process begins with compressed air production, followed by filtration and drying to remove contaminants. The purified air then enters the PSA system, where nitrogen is separated from oxygen using specialized adsorption materials. Finally, the nitrogen is either stored at high pressure for later use or delivered directly to applications requiring an uninterrupted supply.
