AC 765-2120 VSD & AC 650-2100 VSD Cycling Refrigeration Dryers

The AC 765-2120 VSD and AC 650-2100 VSD are Pneumatech’s premium refrigeration dryer ranges for higher flows – from 1120 to 3636 m³/hr (657-2141 cfm). Both deliver strong drying performance, superior reliability, and significantly reduced operating costs, thanks to their energy-saving controls and algorithms, low pressure drop, and quality components.

 

Dedicated variable speed drive (VSD) variants are available in both ranges to reduce energy use by as much as 60% compared to conventional dryers and ensure a stable dew point. The AC 765-2120 VSD is air-cooled, while the AC 650-2100 VSD is the water-cooled version.

Refrigeration dryer technology

Available in air-cooled or water-cooled models, refrigeration dryers remove moisture from the warm, compressed air. The air first passes through the air-to-air heat exchanger before moving to the air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger, where the moisture is condensed and drained. The air is then reheated to room temperature, lowering the pressure dew point and preventing condensation in the piping. This heat exchange process also reduces the cooling demand of the refrigerant system by pre-cooling the incoming air. Refrigeration dryers are a popular drying method and are widely used across multiple industries.
